Parelli Natural Horsemanship..my thoughts..
Yes it's been awhile, but I had to rave about this. If I had some replies every once in awhile I might be more into this whole thing, but seeing as how no one has taken a shine to this whole shindig I guess I'll just post whenever. :)
While I do love that the horse community is starting to focus on natural horsemanship, I have to say I'm not really into all this Parelli stuff. I don't see the point in spending thousands of dollars on his brand line when most of this stuff can be purchased or made at home for a much lower price. I really think the Parelli craze is a way to for him to collect his bit of fortune. Not that I can really say that's bad, but I can understand why some people aren't buying in. I believe communication should be key in all relationships with horses. I love that this is what he is pushing. I just think I've seen too many people take it too far. That being said...I don't dislike the Parelli program, I dislike their prices and even more I dislike the ungodly prices of some of the knock offs who claim his name in the sake of making a fortune.
